Thoughts behind the artwork...

As you hang suspended in the void facing THE LIGHT, utter silence fills your world. If the need to blink existed you would scarcely be able to face the brilliance as it washes over you. In life you knew wonder, but not like this. In life you thought you knew purpose... but now you are BECKONED.

This image is a follow up to 'The Light Beckons' which was meant to convey the notion that you can never know when your number will be called... or where you will be when it happens. You will have no choice in the matter regardless. This image is based on dreams I have had... dreams of what lies beyond deaths door and the journey that entails.

I was actually able to bring this image into hi-res so that I could have it printed. In fact, I have a beautiful 22x16 print framed and matted hanging up in my house! It looks fantastic.
