Interpretations...Yours and Mine

The basis for this image may be something that many of you can relate too... even if you did not know it until reading this. I have depicted a couple who over time are burdened with the ever so common perceptional change that most of us go through in life. The world that they live in has become a routine of repetition that has grown old... like the rusty metal of junked cars rotting away in an old field. The relationship between the two has taken on a deceivingly subtle change as well. Eventually, the mans perception of the woman became the same as that rusty routine that has become his daily life... she became part of the scenery and thereby he has lost sight of who she REALLY is deep down inside. Familiarity drains the intrigue of wanting to know more of what is behind her eyes. The EXACT same perceptional change has taken place within the woman as well. Time has rusted the relationship and the personalities. You might ask why then, is this entitled Anonymous? The reason for the title is that this could be any couple, and unless you know them personally you will probably never know about their condition. It is not something that is announced very often, if it is even recognized in the first place. Even if it is recognized and announced, it is mostly kept between those who are close and trusted. The condition of this couple is all too often a condition of our lives in general.
