And in the vast space of the subconscious mind, where dreams are all to often able to present truth with more clarity and accuracy than the waking world, I found myself face to face with The Politician. Not the well-dressed, smooth talking patriot claiming to stand for We The People. No. This was the true essence of the being. With an odd mixture of curiosity and revulsion, I tried to understand the vile and twisted creature that stood before me.

Many will look at the title of this image and boldy assume that I am speaking of a very specific politician. While that could be an easy mistake to make, I can assure you that it is indeed a mistake. I have for a very long time held great distrust for all politicians. For decades the political system that is currently in place has been slipping farther and farther away from the concept of "we the people". It is my belief that the only way for the system to return to "we the people" is for all of the dirty money to be removed from the top. As long as holding office is a capitolistic venture, we will never see fair and equitable change in our country.
