Sometimes good people become addicts... they make
mistakes and blunder through their lives until getting
past their trials and moving on. Sometimes BAD people
become addicts too. These are the worthless parasites
who would rob from elderly grandparents without losing
a wink of sleep to further their addictions. They navigate
through their lives with absolutely no remorse for the
damage they cause... guided by the skeletons in their
closets they purposely look to leech off of others at any
cost.
-John Alexander (aka SirJohn) When I first created this image I shared it in various art communities out here in cyberspace. There were quite a few people who left comments that cast me in a very negative
light for my so called 'insensitivity' towards addicts in general. These people did not read my description very well. Either that, or they only read what they wanted to read and left the rest out
to further their narrative. As an alcoholic who was raised in an environment filled with addicts of various types, I feel very qualified to make the observations that I have shared in regards to the
soulless and wicked who use their addictions as an excuse to perform terrible acts to further themselves.
