Thoughts behind the artwork... 25 Years worth...

On November 16, 2001 SirJohns World went live. When I try to think about it, 25 years of SirJohns World is hard to wrap my head around. We are talking about a lot of changes, not only to my life as an artist and human being, but also to the entire world.
SirJohns World is literally a throwback to a different time. This tiny little corner of cyberspace predates social media. The entire concept of The Internet was
far different than what is commonplace now. In thinking of how many changes have taken place, both in cyberspace, and the real world, I decided to note some of
them here.
Facebook went live February of 2004.
Youtube went live December of 2005.
Snapchat went live July of 2011.
Instagram went live on November of 2016.
George W. Bush became president on January 20, 2001.
Gas prices ranged between $1.46-$1.53.
9/11 happened.
Popular movies that have since become an integrated part of pop culture from 2001:
The Lord of The Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
Shrek
Harry Potter and The Sorcerers Stone
World population: 6.190 billion people (8.3 billion people NOW)
Wikipedia went live on January 15, 2001.
Apple released the first iPod on October, 2001.
Microsoft Windows XP launched on October 25, 2001.
Microsoft released the first Xbox console the day before SirJohns World went live.
The world of science and politics were also vastly different than the world as we know it. I'm not about to get into any of THAT... we
could be here all day and only begin to scratch the surface of those differences. The one thing that I will say is this: SirJohns World has been around for all of
it. All of these years I have used SirJohns World as the vehicle to deliver my vision as an artist. Despite all of the changes... all of the ups and downs that life
has had in store for me... SirJohns World has been here.
If you are brand new to SirJohns World, I welcome you with open arms. If you are one of the few who have been visiting all through the years, I want to thank you. It
