Interpretations...Yours and Mine

Confusing dream John. If I was the dreamer I would look into that face for direction, but the face is so neutral in it's expression, and the fingers point in different directions...so, where to go? Interresting image!!

When I saw this piece, what came to my mind was the picture of those that talk with their hands...the deaf. So much expression comes through their hands and the face in that hand changes with each word...with each thought .

He asks but there is no answer here. Halted on his journey by forces that speak from within, he imagines the hand that impedes his quest. It is a whisper from the past. There are no features with which to recognize it and the eyes are as empty as his heart on Valentines Day. As he struggles to name this foe, his life goes on without him.... Always so much to see and feel when I look at your images, John... wonderful artistry... :)

It seems to me that our rational side often reaches out to that absurd, irrational side of our nature... that being our emotions. Do not mistake me by thinking that I say emotions are bad, that is not what I mean. What I mean is that emotions often dictate behavior, regardless of whether they behave rationally or not. That rational side of us is often intrigued by this... perhaps even envious.
