It is funny... most of the people I have shown this to have not noticed the lone figure walking down below. To me the artist, this lone figure is the focal point of the image (whether or not the eye is drawn to it). This figure is seemingly the only sane one not stupid enough to follow the lemmings over the ledges. Sometimes I feel like that lone figure. Sometimes I feel like I am surrounded by lemmings.
