Interpretations...Yours and Mine

I found myself sitting in front of my monitor considering a question that I have repeatedly heard for years. Being a creative person with the ability to manifest many of my thoughts in the form of artwork has caused many people to ask me 'where do you GET these ideas??'. I sat there pondering for awhile before I could really formulate an answer beside the 'I dont know... I just think them up' cop out.
I cannot speak for any other artist or creative person on this topic, but I can answer for me. I believe my ideas come from the way I view the world... the way I think... the way I feel. I do not think that I do any of these things quite the same as others around me. I think that I see the world from abstract perspectives.
