Thoughts behind the artwork...

In this image, the central figure is in the throes of taking his own life. The onlookers to this act are his hopes and dreams. These very hopes and dreams have become featureless and devoid of meaning as they bear witness to the end of all things... in other words, the dreams conclusion.
