Thoughts behind the artwork...

The Somnambulist wanders. In our consciousness, he does not see. He walks among us but his mind is on another level... in another place... traveling paths unseen to the rest of us. And so, The Somnambulist finds himself rooted to the spot upon discovering where he had traveled to. He had no idea just what he should have expected... he only knew that The Underworld was most certainly NOT what he thought it would be. As he stood stock still, paralyzed with fear and uncertainty... he wondered if the strange denizens could even SEE him. If they DID, would they allow him to return?

This is another dream inspired image. Many of my dreams are of the vivid nightmare variety. However, every now and then I will have a dream that is equally vivid... but prophetic in some way as opposed to nightmarish for the sake of tormenting.
