Thoughts behind the artwork...

Remembrance of A Moment Long Gone. For many of us, certain events or decisions helped to shape our lives and mold us into who we are today. These memories leave indelible impressions that do not fade away with time. For me personally, I sometimes find myself recalling such memories as if they were about to happen again. There have been moments in time where I walked a path which led to something life-altering just around the next corner. Sometimes, I was fully aware that something was about to forever change the course of my life. Other times, I simply turned a corner only to see everything irreversibly altered. In the deep well of thoughts where my dreams reside, I stand shadowlike and observe myself in the moments just before those events transpire.

The concept for this image has been rolling around in my head for years. Finding the proper visual representation for such things sometimes takes time. Thank you for looking.
