Thoughts behind the artwork...

In the earliest years of my journey as a digital artist, I was busy learning how to BECOME an artist. My computer was very basic (it was late 1999). My computer knowledge was absolute zero. Through trial and error, I taught myself everything. In those early, formative years, I had a series of images which were titled with the word 'Techno' at the beginning. They were not intended to be thought provoking, either in name or in appearance. Those images were simply the fun new discoveries that I was making along the path of learning.

Recently, I have rediscovered how much fun it is to create without thinking. The title word 'Techno' is to me a symbolic revisitation of the excitement felt as an artistic explorer from so long ago.
