Thoughts behind the artwork...

Having passed through "The Light", I wandered alone through a surreal landscape devoid of anything one could call 'life'. As I meandered along the shoreline of The River of Time, no winds stirred, and the only sounds were the lapping waters and the tread of my own bare feet.

No sense of urgency compelled me forward as time seemed to not be felt. The skies of misty white showed neither sun, nor cloud above. Despite the strange emptiness, no feeling of unease pursued me. How long I wandered before I saw them, I cannot say. Strange Totems Beyond The Light were soon before me. Standing naked before them, my mind tried to grasp their meaning... their origin... and the hands that must have made them.

The dream fades slowly upon awakening. But my mind will always wonder if indeed it was a dream rather than some prophetic vision of what will one day be.
