Many great thinkers have pointed out that the path to fascism begins with the deconstruction of The Intellectuals. To fascinate and charm those not capable of understanding the machinations of the ones in power is the first step towards the deconstruction of The Intellectual, and thus, the first step towards an authoritarian state of control. As more and more of the population fall under the spell... The Fate of The Intellectual becomes grim. The celebration of ignorance over intelligence will ultimately lead to the collapse of freedom. When the ignorant finally catch on to what is happening, it will be far too late.
