Thoughts behind the artwork...

It matters not one bit what your justifications are, if a few measly tax dollars per year are more important than helping those in need, you may have much to answer for on the other side.

This image is merely one is a series tackling this topic. Make no mistake, this is NOT an anti-religeous image. It IS an anti-hypocritical image. Many christians walk the walk and genuinely care about those in need. Many others only PRETEND to. They go to church and place themselves on a high moral pedestal, but flat out sprint to the voting booth to do their best to shoot down ANYTHING that could help those in need. All in the name of saving a few measly tax dollars for themselves. I have heard the petty justifications for such actions and yet I cannot find anything that justifies letting those in need suffer.

Sadly, this pathetic behavior seems to be spreading like a cancer.
