Thoughts behind the artwork...

My life is wonderful. I've worked hard my entire life... earned everything I have. I am blessed with family and friends who make life something to be truly thankful for. I am a lucky man.

There are those who have toiled endlessly with nothing to show for their efforts. This image symbolizes a man who's entire life has been a thankless burden. An entire life seemingly modeled after the punishment of Sisyphus... forever pushing that boulder up a steep hill with never a moments rest. Unbeknown to him, he stands at the end. Those on "the other side" watch as his burden reaches it's final resting place. With The Last Burden Passing, they will welcome him.
