Thoughts behind the artwork...

Some mistakes remain permanent. Bridges burn and eventually are swept away by The River of Time. To revisit them later in life often proves to be futile... what is to be found on the other side is not that which was there in the past.

This image was inspired by a concept that was already in my mind years before a life event solidified it into a notion to be brought forth artistically. Out of the blue I recieved a telephone call while sitting in front of the television. The person on the other end of the phone was a person I had not spoken to in a few decades. This person wanted to make amends for a past mistake in order to rekindle a flame that was long extinguished. This person had no clue that I was not even the same person that they had once known.
