Interpretations...Yours and Mine

I like to take long nature walks when I can... it clears my head. When I am on these walks I cannot escape the sound of traffic... or the sounds of airplanes. I can be surrounded by the most peaceful things, but droning on and on in the background is the sound of US. It always makes me think about what it was all like before we got our hooks dug in... before the rise of technology... before the manufacturing age. It is easy to philosophise further that we in all of our wonderous knowledge have become a pollutant. Our whole technological/manufacturing society is simply generating more pollutants with each and every passing day. A rather bleak thought I know. But that is exactly what I feel like when I think about how things must have been before we got here.
