Interpretations...Yours and Mine

No doubt you can imagine the dark thoughts behind this. This began as a project for a CD cover, but as I went along it took on a deeper meaning in my mind. I began to think of the emotional darkness that takes place when nothing in life seems to go right for a person. Over time this darkness gets deeper and deeper until it seems as if you have been broken, cast down into despair... and impaled upon those very hopes and dreams that once let you smile.
