| To follow this tutorial, just enter all values in each step. To the right of each step I have provided an image of what your image will look like if you have followed the directions correctly. |
| Step one: Open a new image 500x500 pixels in size. Background color makes no real difference. Select your flood fill tool and set it to 'sunburst' gradient with the invert gradient box CHECKED (this is important). Set your foreground color to #FFC0C0 and your background color to black. Now apply the gradient. Your image should look like this: | ![]() |
| Step two: This step is pretty simple, just choose colors from your menu bar and scroll down to negative image, apply negative image (colors/negative image). Your image should look like this: | ![]() |
| Step three: For this step choose Effects from your menu bar, scroll down to Artistic effects, choose chrome (effects/artistic effects/chrome). Enter these values in the Chrome dailogue box: flaws=3 brightness=33 color= #FFFFC0. Leave the original colors box UNCHECKED. Your image should look like this: | ![]() |
| Step four: Next, select Effects/Artistic effects/Hot wax coating, apply hot wax coating. Your image should look like this: | ![]() |
