Anyones Story: Chapter one
Chapter one: Anyones Story Begins.
Hello. Under normal circumstances I would give you my name, it is only proper after all. However, as you shall soon find out; my name is not important. I could be anyone. I could be your friend, neighbor, relative, loved one, even you. Yes, I am anyone and this is my story.
Like most people, I had a rather different childhood. I always felt empty and alone. I never quite fit in. The only place that I felt at peace was my 'secret place'. Not too far away from where I lived there was a small wooded area that I discovered while walking alone on some railroad tracks. It looked so secretive and secluded that I simply had to check it out. I instantly fell in love with this place and never told a soul about its existance. Ah, it was such a special place to just sit and think. I could lay on my back and stare at the clouds or I could lean against a tree and stare out across the little pond my spot overlooked. It was wonderful... I went there all the time to be alone and get away from it all. This went on for several years.
As I got a bit older I found a friend who introduced me to the one thing that would change everything. Oh, it was a very special thing indeed... it was a magical elixir! When I drank the elixir I felt the emptiness inside of me fill right up with warmth I had never felt before. To me, it was what I imagined love to feel like. When I drank the elixir I became handsome, fearless, full of vitality and strength. I became the person that everyone wishes they were….perfect.
At first I kept my elixir secret from all. Nobody knew about my discovery. It was as secret as my secret place. After a while though I found others who not only knew about the elixir, but also enjoyed it themselves. I began to go to places where others of my kind gathered. It is funny how things work out, I never saw that there was something wrong until it was too late. I did not know that my precious elixir was actually a demon.
